Meet Jordan, Senior Account Executive at STORD, and learn why he’s eager to come to work every day.

Why did you choose STORD?

STORD is innovative, young and growing rapidly, and shares the same vision for changing fragmented supply chains. I hold a degree in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation, and I’ve worked for several large logistics companies like Hanjin and Hapag-Lloyd, in addition to running my own import company. I developed a passion for helping customers, optimizing supply chains and driving advantageous strategies across the globe, which I carried to my role at STORD where I’m extremely fortunate to be part of something this impactful.

What do you do at STORD?

I’m a Senior Account Executive, and my main objectives are to give large enterprises real-time inventory visibility, the ability to enter and exit new markets seamlessly, expand and contract for projects or seasonality, reduce excess safety stock, and standardize operations with 3rd party warehouses throughout North America. Every day I have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with industry leaders and help them solve some of their largest distribution hurdles.

What do you like most about your job?

My team, the leadership, our goals and our vision. I’m very motivated and eager to come into the office every day, which is not always the case elsewhere. I get to meet with companies that I’ve been trying to work with for my entire career and listen to their CEOs, vice presidents and directors get excited about who we are and what we do. They quickly recognize the value our company brings and the many solutions we offer and become actively engaged with adopting innovative change across their organizations. The relationships we are building and that I have made motivate me to continuously add value at all levels to both our partners and end customer.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

When I’m not working, I enjoy re-centering myself with long runs, hiking, real estate and golfing. I’m still new to golf but I love the challenge each swing brings! If you share any of my passions I would love the opportunity to connect. Onward and Upwards only!
